Daisy cottage is a beautiful 200 year old fisherman’s cottage in the heart of the picturesque Georgian sea and river side village of Shaldon. Just 150 metres from the beach, Daisy Cottage is the perfect base for a holiday in Shaldon which has a great selection of pubs, shops and cafés. There’s also plenty to do in and around the village such as the wildlife park and the secret smugglers tunnel that takes you through to a hidden beach.

If you want more, you can take Britain’s oldest ferry to Teignmouth with its theatre’s, award winning restaurants and museum. If you want something more exciting why not join the dolphin and whale watching trips or visit one of the water sports centres to hire a kayak, go scuba diving or even go kite surfing! In fact, you can have an amazing relaxing or action packed holiday without once having to use your car.

Finally, when you’ve had a busy day and the kids have gone to bed, kick-back and enjoy a glass of wine on the sun trap roof terrace.

The cottage itself has been finished to a high standard and whilst it retains it old cottage charm it has all the mod cons you might need and many you might not expect such as Google Home, smart TV and a Wii console. Your holiday will be guilt free as the cottage is very energy efficient with A rated appliances, Nest thermostat and 100% renewable electricity.

Daisy cottage was completely refitted in 2019 with all new furniture and appliances.
